Building a keyboard with the primary legends being Tamil is great and all but if I can’t type in Tamil then there is no point in doing this whole project.

Based on my first-custom-keyboard-build, I want to keep the same layout, I believe the HHKB layout is perfect for a tamil keyboard.

The biggest hurdle I have for this is the keycaps. I want keycaps with Tamil legends. portraying the tamil99 keyboard. I wonder if there is a preference among people who type in Tamil daily. this all means I will have to start creating-custom-keycaps to have tamil legands. for some reason there are easy options for japanese legends but…

So, one of the tasks I should focus on is to improve my knowledge of Tamil. become more natural when it comes to reading and writing in Tamil. I should be able to type faster in Tamil than I can in English. Learning my Mother tongue as an Adult.
